Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Technical Leader to drive the design, development, and delivery of robust, scalable applications.This role requires strong hands-on experience, technical leadership, and the ability to mentor and lead fellow engineers. You willserve as a key technical authority across projects, ensuring code quality, architectural soundness, and delivery excellence.
Core Responsibilities
1. Technical Ownership & Architecture
- Define, design, and evolve application architectures balancing scalability, maintainability, performance, and security.
- Lead and support the technical implementation of new features and architecture upgrades across back-end and front-endlayers.
- Ensure adherence to best coding practices, establish and conduct code reviews, enforce SonarQube quality gates.
- Maintain regression-free development and ensure performance optimization of applications.
- Act as the go-to expert for deep technical questions and key design decisions.
2. Mentorship, Leadership & Team Development
- Mentor and guide team members—especially junior and mid-level engineers—helping them grow technically andprofessionally.
- Provide guidance in real-time, assisting with troubleshooting, code challenges, and design dilemmas.
- Lead by example in promoting code craftsmanship, clean architecture, and proactive knowledge sharing.
3. Project Planning & Delivery
- Translate business requirements into well-architected technical solutions.
- Decompose high-level goals into manageable tasks, estimate work, and define clear delivery roadmaps.
- Drive timely feature delivery in alignment with product and business objectives.
- Monitor and assist in removing technical blockers to keep the team effective.
- Prepare and validate deliverables, ensuring smooth delivery aligned with business objectives.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Designers, and QA Engineers to align on priorities and roadmap.
- Serve as the bridge between functional and technical teams, translating complex technical details for stakeholders.
- Participate in functional and technical documentation efforts.
- Collaborate with the manager to assess staffing needs and support technical hiring by participating in interviews and skillevaluations.
5. Quality, Security & Risk Management
- Own code quality through enforcing checks, peer reviews, and testing.
- Identify system risks (e.g., security, performance bottlenecks) and put mitigation plans in place.
6. Strategic & Technical Innovation
- Stay current with new technologies and assess their relevance to business needs.
- Investigate and integrate emerging tools aligned with architectural principles.
- Contribute to internal technical communities and support the scaling of engineering best practices.
Qualifications
Technical Expertise
- In-depth experience (typically 5+ years) in fullstack development (Java/Spring Boot and Angular/Vue).
- Strong experience in system design, API development, microservices architecture and asynchronous processing.
- Solid understanding of DevOps tools and practices (GitLab CI, Docker, SonarQube, Nexus) and automated testing (JUnit,Mockito, etc.).
- Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other container/orchestration tools is an advantage.
- Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or other relational and NoSQL databases.
While hands-on coding may not be daily, the ideal candidate has a deep understanding of Java/Spring-based applicationsand modern frontend frameworks, enabling them to guide and review technical decisions confidently.
